Top Questions
Answer: Your tagboard HTML code is available here. This is what you need to install your tagboard on your website. |
Answer: Go to the skins page of the admin module. You get full control over the fonts and colours your tagboard uses, and it's just a matter of pointing and clicking. There's also a colour picker you can pop up to get colour codes. |
Answer: Once you have signed up for a tagboard, log in, and go to the code generator.
Simply follow the steps on that page. If you are trying to install tagboard on a Xanga.com website, be sure to tick "Using Xanga", if it isn't already. Unforunately, some web hosts don't support tagboard. If you install your tagboard and all you see is code, or it gets filtered out, your host may not allow the HTML that tagboard needs. Remeber that you always have the option of posting your tagboard Quick Link instead – get it from the left-hand bar of your admin panel. It's just a link, so it will work anywhere. Then ask your host to start supporting tagboard! |
Answer: You can use the posts page of the
admin module to delete posts individually or in groups. If you are a Advanced tagboard user, create a moderator account for yourself here, and then log in at your tagboard to delete posts without having to visit the admin panel at all. |
Answer: On this page, there is a
"time zone" setting. Simply select the time (shown in brackets) from the drop-down list that most closely matches your local time, and save your changes. |
Answer: You can move your tagboard code
around on your web pages to make the tagboard show up in a different place. You can also make it align to the centre or right side of the page, by editing the code a little.
The second line of your tagboard code looks like this: <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" summary="tagboard tagboard" align="center"> Change align="center" to align="left" or align="right", depending on where you want your tagboard to go. To move it up or down on your page, you'll need to move the code to a different part of your layout. If you have access to the HTML of your page but don't know HTML, test different places to see which works best. If you have a Xanga website then your code will be different. Your tagboard's position will depend on your template, and can't be changed without altering the template. |
Answer: You need to have cookies enabled in your browser in order to use the admin. If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy,
and set the slider to Medium. If that doesn't work, click the Advanced button, tick the Override option and select Accept for both First- and Third-party cookies. |
Answer: You can change your tagboard's size using the
code generator. Simply change the values for width and height, and then follow the instructions to reinstall your tagboard on your site. |
Answer: First, remove the code that you pasted into your site. If you
have a Xanga site, this means clearing out the "JavaScript Module" box on your "Look & Feel" page. For other sites, delete the tagboard HTML code from your pages.
Next, you'll want to delete your tagboard account by clicking the link found near the bottom of this page (log in first if necessary). If you have a subscription to the Advanced version of tagboard, you can cancel that by finding it on your PayPal account's History page. |
